I had bid on a house and had the appraisal done the lender did not disclosue that it was in a flood plain until six days before my closing but she did tell me that a piece of the siding on the house had to be fix before I could so having said that would she have not known that the house was in a flood plain and if so what can I do about this. The real estate that was selling this house also did not discloue this but was told by another buyer realtor that it was in a flood plain when are offers went in please help Glen here is the thing I had the apprassail done 3 week s ago and all the appraser said that the siding was to be fix and that was it . I was told by my lender and then six days before my closing she tells me that I needed flood insurance as I understand as an appraser is to run data and information on the property
